Zinc sulfide usage

Zinc sulfide usage

White to grayish white or light yellow powder. The color of the light darkens. Stable in monotonous air, it gradually oxidizes to zinc sulfate when left in humid air or containing moisture for a long time. Soluble in dilute inorganic acids, soluble in alkalis, insoluble in water. Relative density 3.98（ α Type), (d25) 4.102（ β Type). Irritating.

Basic properties of zinc selenide

Basic properties of zinc selenide

Zinc selenide material is a yellow transparent polycrystalline material with a crystalline particle size of approximately 70 μ m. Transparent planning 0.5-15 μ m。 The substrate composed of chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method has no impurity absorption and extremely low scattering loss. Due to the impact on 10.6 μ The absorption of m-wavelength light is very small, making it a material for making optical devices in high-power CO2 laser systems. In addition, it is also a widely used material in different optical systems throughout its entire transparent wavelength range.

How to use precipitated barium sulfate as a filler in coatings

How to use precipitated barium sulfate as a filler in coatings

Precipitated barium sulfate is also a raw material for manufacturing other barium salts - powder coatings, paints, marine primers, military equipment coatings, automotive coatings, latex coatings, interior and exterior wall building coatings. It can improve product light resistance, weather resistance, chemical and electrochemical corrosion resistance, and enhance product decoration effects, enhancing the impact strength of coatings. Inorganic industry is used as a raw material for manufacturing other barium salts such as barium hydroxide, barium carbonate, barium chloride, etc. When producing wood grain printed boards in the wood industry, they are used for backing and preparing printing paint. Used as a green pigment and lake in organic synthesis to produce organic fillers.

Why does precipitated barium sulfate affect the gloss of powder coatings

Why does precipitated barium sulfate affect the gloss of powder coatings

The particle size and dispersion performance are both related factors that affect the gloss of powder coatings. For powder coatings, the level of gloss is closely related to its quality. After understanding the influencing factors, we can start from these factors to find solutions to the problems related to the gloss of powder coatings and improve their glossiness.

Precipitated barium sulfate does not change color when encountering hydrogen sulfide

Precipitated barium sulfate does not change color when encountering hydrogen sulfide

Although precipitated barium sulfate has the same chemical properties as barite powder, it has no crystallization performance and is amorphous, with a very soft texture. Its oil absorption and covering power are higher than those of barite powder. It is very stable to air and heat, and does not discolor when it comes to hydrogen sulfide and toxic gases.
